Privacy policy

The short version

toolhar never sees your files or the text you type into a tool. Everything you do inside a tool happens in your browser on your device. This page explains the few places we (or our hosting) do interact with data.

Data processed by tools

Files you upload to a tool (images, PDFs, GIFs) and text you type are read exclusively by the JavaScript running in your browser. They are not sent to our servers. Because of that we hold no copies, metadata or analytics about your documents.

Cookies and analytics

The site itself uses only the cookies needed for technical operation (such as an "accept" preference). If analytics is enabled on our domain, it gathers nothing about your files — just aggregate page views — and can be blocked with a standard ad-blocker.

Hosting and logs

Like any website, our hosting provider may record brief server logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp) to keep the site running and secure. We do not merge these logs with any personal data, and they are retained only as long as needed for security.

Admin area

The site's administrative section stores only site content (tool descriptions, guides, settings) and the account credentials of permitted administrators. It is blocked from search engines.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page with a new date. Your continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
